When motorcycle owners call
Motorcycle towing may be needed after a breakdown, flat tire, no-start condition, collision, purchase, sale, or when a bike needs transportation to a shop or another destination. A motorcycle’s balance, clearance, wheel condition, and access all matter during loading.
What to tell dispatch
- Motorcycle make, model, and approximate size
- Exact pickup point and destination
- Whether the bike rolls and steers
- Whether keys are available
- Visible handlebar, wheel, fork, or body damage
- Whether the motorcycle is upright, down, or in a confined area
- Gate, garage, alley, or other access restriction
Damage changes the loading plan
A bike with a locked wheel, damaged fork, broken controls, or collision damage may need a different approach than a motorcycle that rolls normally. Describe the condition before the truck arrives.
Prepare for pickup
Remove detachable valuables and loose accessories when practical. Have keys and any required property authorization ready, and confirm the destination can receive the motorcycle.
